Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football who played for the National Football League. He played for 17 years playing on the field. One of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and third-best overall receiver, he has been named the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of receiving yards, receptions and receptions, among other things.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in the studio of FOX. Gonzalez is an anchor on FOX NFL KICKOFF - FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame program which airs before FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 AM ET every Sunday during NFL season.
Gonzalez's assertion that he would retire in the NFL at the end of 2013 was not true. On March 15 2013, Gonzalez agreed to sign with the Falcons a 2-year contract for 14 million dollars. Randy Moss retired in 2013 as did Gonzalez, who was 37 when he left, was able to finish the final year of his career in the position of being the NFL leader for receiving yards.
